Earlier this week, Bo and I took advantage of an opportunity to play golf at a very nice Pete Dye golf course recently constructed out near the airport. Kuk, one of our Thai friends from Kellogg, was kind enough to set us up with a discounted fare, as I believe her family is a member at the club. It was a fantastic day of golf, and the course truly had some breathtaking views (some of which are captured below). It was a strange feeling being on a golf course in Thailand, as I feel at home on just about any golf course that I step on, yet I was halfway around the world in a foreign culture. We both had Thai female caddies who spoke very little English, but they were helpful nonetheless. Conversation with Bo, as it has been throughout my travels, during the round was entertaining as usual.
